One-Day Nha Trang Motorbike Itinerary: Route and Stops
Published on 8 August 2026

One full day in Nha Trang and a scooter at your disposal? That is enough to cover most of the coastal city's highlights. Bike Nha Trang put together this itinerary using real distances — about 60 km in total for the whole day, an easy ride on any automatic scooter.
Morning: the northern icons (8:00 – 11:30)
Start with the cluster of sights in the north of the city — they sit close together, so the riding is effortless:
- Hon Chong rocks (about 3 km from the center, a 10-minute ride): a curious pile of boulders jutting into the sea. In the early light the low sun makes great photos, the breeze is cool and the crowds have not arrived yet.
- Po Nagar Cham towers (back about 2 km, 7 minutes): a thousand-year-old Cham temple complex on a hill above the river mouth. Dress modestly when entering the towers.
- Long Son Pagoda (about 4 km, 15 minutes): famous for the white Buddha statue on the hilltop — climb the steps and you are rewarded with a panorama of the whole city.
All three sights have parking right at the gate for a few thousand dong — lock the steering and keep your ticket.
Lunch: seafood the local way (11:30 – 13:30)
From Long Son Pagoda, ride to the seafront along Pham Van Dong street or the local seafood spots around the Po Nagar area — where Nha Trang locals actually eat. Order whatever is in season: grilled shrimp, steamed squid, shellfish of all kinds. Afterwards, take a coffee break by the sea — the afternoon holds the best riding of the day.
Afternoon: Cu Hin pass and the Bai Dai sunset (14:30 – 18:00)
The most rewarding stretch: head south from the center along Tran Phu street, cross Binh Tan bridge and join Nguyen Tat Thanh boulevard — about 25 km, roughly 45 minutes. The road climbs over the Cu Hin pass with mountains on one side and open blue sea on the other; several roadside viewpoints let you photograph Nha Trang bay from above.
At the bottom of the pass lies Bai Dai — a long white-sand beach with gentle waves and simple beachfront eateries. Pick a seat, order a fresh coconut and watch the sunset pour gold over the bay. Ride back to the center before full darkness for safety.
Evening: night market and a seaside stroll (19:00 – 21:30)
Back in the center, park the bike and explore the Nha Trang night market near the Tran Phu area on foot: souvenirs, grilled seafood, tropical fruit and the liveliest tourist buzz in town. End the day with a slow walk along the beach park — city lights on one side, the sound of waves on the other.
Tips for this itinerary
- The full day covers about 55–65 km; one tank of fuel is more than enough.
- Fill up in the morning before you start, just for peace of mind.
- Bring sunscreen and sunglasses for the afternoon coastal stretch.
- Any Bike Nha Trang scooter — Vision, Air Blade or NVX — suits this route; riding as a pair, pick a Lead or Grande for extra room.
One day, one scooter, and Nha Trang from the sea to the pagoda, from ancient towers to a golden sunset — no tour is as flexible as your own handlebars. Book ahead with Bike Nha Trang, get the bike delivered free to your hotel in the center, and tomorrow at 8 am your itinerary begins.
